About
Free Spirit Healing Arts is devoted to providing a serene and energizing environment
in which individuals may seek deep experiences of transformation and personal growth.
Explore your connections with your essential self through contemplative movement,
hands-on work, and earth-focused, body-centered, spiritual guidance. It is my greatest
joy to accompany you as you awaken your heart's creative energy and explore joyous
transformation of body, mind and spirit. In addition to private and group sessions,
I often invite associated practitioners for guest classes and sessions in my space.

Body-Mind Centering® (BMC℠):
Body-Mind Centering is an integrated approach to transformative experience through
movement re-education and hands-on repatterning developed by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen.
BMC practitioners begin where you are and utilize movement, touch, voice, and creative
tools to support you to become more embodied; to learn how your mind is expressed
through your body and your body through your mind.

Spiritual Counseling and Heart-centered Shamanic Practices
Discover your life path and tune in to both clear and subtle messages from your higher self, your inner wisdom, Nature spirits, and from individuals with whom you interact. Kim (Kamala) utilizes archetypal images depicted in meditation cards and natural objects, drawing upon the wisdom of many world traditions, for interactive readings focused on choice and empowerment. She is also available for consultation regarding creative ceremonies for every day life and for special events.
About Kim
Kim Burden (Kamala) has been exploring how beauty, spirit, mind, and emotion are
expressed through the body, in ceremony and in the arts for over 25 years. She
believes deeply in the innate connection between the human body and the forces of
nature, and in the healing power of love and creative expression. Kamala's journey
has led her into many diverse arenas, including intensive studies in modern,
improvisational, and traditional world dance, music, and visual art practices, yoga
and body-mind disciplines, and Body-Mind Centering. A dancer, artist,
choreographer, and musician, She has received initiations into Goddess, Indigenous
and Earth-based spiritual traditions, and has enjoyed immersing herself in deep
personal studies of a wide range of religious, ceremonial, shamanic, and divinatory
traditions. She is also a licensed clinical mental health counselor, certified
dance/movement therapist, psychodramatist and practitioner of Body-Mind Centering.
Kamala is currently studying Cell Memory and Body Therapy work with Marcus Daniels,
director of Lung Ta Institute.
